This article and photograhps have been of great interest to me. I live in Australia, and will watch the third episode of "Welcome to Lagos" tonight. I have a Nigerian friend who has recently returned to Lagos to visit his family and attend to a business enterprise. He has invited me to join him there for a few weeks early next year. Although I have visited the Philippines several times, and seen people living in extreme poverty, I doubt whether that has prepared me sufficiently for Lagos. It's a long way to travel to then worry about my safety. Thankyou for your contribution to the very accessible wealth of knowledge on the WWW.
