Police in Suceava in northern Romania suspect Viorel Truşcan of having had sex with a dead woman in his own bed, the local press reported today (Tues).
Valeria Elena Burac was killed by her husband who had found her in the bed of her lover Truscan. When he returned home, the woman was lying dead in bed, but he hadn't realised that and had had sexual relations with her, he told police. Only later did he observe she was no longer breathing.
Police are trying to decide whether Truscan is guilty of profanation of the dead and are continuing to investigate the murder, which occurred as all involved were quite drunk.
