Bungling surgeons are being sued for 100,000 GBP compensation after they removed a man's testicles instead of his gallstones in a botched operation.
Horrified Andreas Holler, 68, went into the hospital in Halle, Germany, for a routine surgery and woke up in agony when he realised what the medics had removed. "I may be getting on but I had a normal sex life and I was a fit and healthy man. Something went very wrong," he said.
Medics claim the gallstones operation was carried out as normal, but complications meant Holler had to go back into surgery where his testicles were removed as an emergency measure.
